First time eating here and it is really good! It’s impossible to find fried clam strips around here. They are a staple up north but difficult to find here so I was happy to find a place that had them! The clam strips were nice and crunchy, not soggy at all. The sides were good too. I got Mac and cheese and collards and both were great. Definitely would recommend. My only suggestion would be if they would make their own cocktail sauce. Fresh tastes so much better!

Flew in from Austin, TX and this is the first place we stopped. Really happy we made the stop and got to meet the owner/cook as well. They were super quick and we enjoyed the meal. Ran into a local there as well so you know even the locals love it. Would highly recommend stopping by here!

We are from Colorado and come to SC to visit family. Whenever we are here we love going to JC seafood. We can't get fresh shrimp at home. We got some seafood plates this last time and they were amazing too. Real down home cooking. If we didn't live so far away we'd eat/shop here all the time.

As a Northeast DC native. It was a struggle to eat carbs soaking in garlic and butter. Not something that worked well with my taste buds. Then I found JC Seafood!

Our family was visiting Kiawah Island and bought 4 doz steamed blue crabs and 3 lbs of cooked shrimp. Joe (owner) was great, the crabs were a nice size and the shrimp was seasoned just right. Also, the seafood was beautifully packed in professional, aluminum pans with lids. I would highly recommend this crab house.
